2 Day Canoe, kyak and celtic longboat events in the dramatic settings of Barmouth Harbour and the Mawddach Estuary, Challenges for all the Family!
Saturday 17th June - 3 Peak Yacht Race
The Race start is preceded by a procession of the yachts from the Harbour to the start line off shore, with many events, stalls and music on the quayside to entertain onlookers, The race proceeds to Caernarfon where to crewe members race to the summit of Snowdon, then onto the whitehaven for the the ascent of Scafell Pike, finally to Fort Williams and Ben Nevis
Saturday 8th & 9th July Barmouth Kite Festival
The kite festival will again be on the beach with a colourful display of kites and other wonderful creations in all shapes and sizes. Flying from 10am-5pm each day on the beach opposite the Lifeboat Station
Barmouths busiest time of year, come and enjoy the extensive award winning beach, trampolines and donkey rides, fun fair, Bendi-gedig the indoor play area and over 60 independent shops, and the many cafes, restaurants and pubs.
Saturday 9th September Heart of Wales Vintage Lorry Rally
Dozens of colourful, wonderfully kept classic lorries and vintage commercial vehicles arrive in convoy to Barmouth as part of there 240 mile run. They park up on the main car park 1-3pm

Trains are now running as normal to Pwllheli. The road bridge from Llandecwyn to Penryhn will remain closed until June 2015 so a diversion is still in place travelling by road, via Maentwrog. There is a convoy system operating on the narrowest part between 6am & 6pm daily so allow time for delays.
